For the 14th time EQUROS International Equestrian Exhibition took place at Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre on October 6-9. The exhibition, organized by Moskau Messe company, was a huge success. More than 150 exhibitors, fantastic equestrian show-program, conferences and roundtable discussions for professionals were available for the all 4 days of the event.
The exposition occupied as many as four pavilions, one of which was turned into the arena, the second held the exposition itself, and the third, perhaps the most favorite among the visitors, was the stables! The fourth pavilion featured professional events such as the 1st All-Russian Dressage Forum (Organized by www.Dressagehorses.ru), and the Horse Diseases 13th International scientific veterinary conference (Organized by E. Zabegina).
The first day of the event was marked by the grand opening ceremony attended by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Equestrian Federation of Russia, Gennady Seleznev, member of the Board of JSC The Russian hippodromes JSC, Nikolay Isakov, Head of Zabegina Company, Ekaterina Zabegina, the TV project "Holiday in Mexico" participant Timur Chikovani and rapper Stuff, and marvelously beautiful and spectacular fancy riding shows which made a true furor among the audience. After the show there was a workshop on fancy riding, and the Russian Legend Orlov Trotter Festival finished the day. The show that night – Autumn Ball in Sokolniki, which was a costumed Kür, gathered many people who love and appreciate horses.
The following days were also extremely exciting, the visitors couldn’t find out the way to see the entire exposition and visit all the seminars and workshops in the arena! Friday, for instance, was fully dedicated to practical sessions within the 1st All-Russian Dressage Forum, conference-halls held the Economy Forum and the Judging the Style of Pony Riders in Show-Jumping seminar.
Saturday is remembered by its packed arena program, where right from the start took place the Sportive Western Cup of Russia, then a driving workshop, held by a German expert M.Randau and, of course, the Pride of Russia horse parade, and at night in the arena took place the 10th Arabic Horse Show Russian Championship.
The last day was with a hint of sadness as the largest equestrian exhibition in the country was coming to its end. ShaEl World Cup became the logical conclusion to the event, where the audience had the fantastic opportunity to see and enjoy the exquisite and unique Akhal-Teke horses.
It comes as no surprise that one of the most visited and popular places was the arena hosting outstanding horse shows: the Pride of Russia horse parade, the Russian Legend Orlov Trotter Festival, the Sportive Western Cup of Russia, pony-riding contests, dressage and driving workshops.
The exposition contained a wide assortment of various goods from manufacturers as well as from many veterinary and equestrian shops of Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Belarus. Here are the main participants: ProkoniShop, Technology of Sport, Horze, Koenig-Hippica, Foliant, White Mane, Nova-Vet, Veda, Argo, Vetprom, HorseVet. Races Sport company and Allure shop presented the equipment for stables, exercise machines, soils and other goods. There were also international exhibitors from the Netherlands, Germany and even from Pakistan (Paksmith Surgico company, the 4th-generation manufacturer of horse equipment). The Dutch exhibitors presented PAVO horse feeds, which were very popular among the visitors. The representatives of KWPN and HNHF companies, as well as Stal Hendrix Export and VSN were satisfied with their results at the exhibition, we will be waiting for them next year, as well as our regular participants from Germany - LAAKE, GHI, Hannoveraner, EQUUS DESIGN, P.S.I., Multi Projeckt, ESGIM.
