November 18 in Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre in Moscow saw the opening of the Moto Winter 2016, the 3rd International Exhibition for Active Recreational Activities Equipment. The exhibition features leading motorcycle manufacturers, including BMW, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Triumph, MV Agusta, KTM and BRP with their best models!
Day one of the event started with the presentation of the unique collection of antique motorbikes from Vyacheslav Sheyanov’s Motoworld Museum, which has never been on display in Russia before. Many of the demonstrated heavy bikes that date back to the 1930-1940, now exist in a single original only. The museum’s owner gave the guests and reporters a personal tour of his booth to demonstrate the most interesting exhibits and share his unique knowledge of motorcycle engineering of the first half of the 20th century.
Another highlight was the Russian premiere of BMW G 310 R – one of those will be given away to the winner of the City for Bikers quest hosted by the exhibition organizers together with the Moscow Transportation Department and Russian office of BMW Motorrad for the event visitors.
Russian Run Rentals will present their gorgeous Harley Davidson motorbikes, give an update about a new winter riding location and treat the visitors with some hot tea from a samovar.
Moto Winter is designed to suit all ages – a racetrack shaped bouncy castle will hold run bike races for children under the motor racing rules.
