The open Moscow championship of Akhal-Teke pure breed horses will be held on October 29, 2016 as a part of the Equiros International Horse Exhibition.
The championship is organized by:
- Equiros International Exhibition,
- Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding,
- All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Horse Breeding.
The Akhal-Teke horse (Ahal-teke aty – Turkmen) is one of the most unusual and fine horse breeds. Its breeding history dates back to allegedly 5000 years ago in the area which today is occupied by Turkmenia (Akhal-Teke). This is the earliest of stud breeds that affected many other – Arabian, Thoroughbred and many more. Along with the Thoroughbred and the Arabian it falls under the pure breed category for being a model riding horse that has never been bred with any other breeds for 5000 years.
It is well suited to dry and hot climate and adjusts greatly to any other conditions.
Thanks to its exterior the Akhal-Teke pure breed horses competitions become the object of attention from both professionals and unsuspecting public at all times.
