Monday, October 31, 2016 EKATERINA BORISOVA CONDUCTED WORKSHOP AT INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION

Ekaterina Borisova, a resident of Khimki district in Moscow, nominated for Our Moscow Region governor's award, conducted an open workshop for children, named "I Draw a Horse" as a part of the "Equiros'2016" 18th International Exhibition.

Having devoted her entire life to art, today Ekaterina is a member of the UNESCO International Federation of Artists, the Union of Artists and the Union of Designers of Russia. "I Draw a Horse" project of hers has been nominated for the governor's award. The workshop she developed provided for an easy and entertaining way to tell the children about specifics of motion, anatomy and muscular structure of these animals as they draw it.

“Being able to introduce art to people is what makes me happy. My workshop has been developed for children who are involved in equestrian sports. I show them proper ways to picture a horse, be attentive to details and tell one breed from another. In my classes we either draw from life or use my paintings. The opportunity to develop this project emerged after it was approved by the Public Chamber of Khimki”, said Ekaterina.

Ekaterina Borisova is also well known by many as the artist who had a part in organizing the "Pies of Russia" festival, which was hosted in Khimki as a part of the City Day celebrations.
