Karachai horses Boz and Damly, which have conquered the Elbrus peak, will join the daily breed parade.
This is the first ascent to the highest European mountain for Karachai horses in 20 years. On September 14, Askhat Guzoev, Aslan Altuev, and Aslan Khubiev with Boz and Damly ascended to the height of 5642 meters to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ascent to the western peak.
Project initiator Marika Khubieva told TASS that the effort aimed to test the Karachai breed's endurance. This is the first successful ascent involving horses in the last 20 years.
