IMPI, a store and studio of equine equipment, gives a piece of advice to prepare for selecting a horsecloth:
- Take measures in advance with a measuring tape or a piece of rope, use the following image as guidance. You will need 3 values to select an ideal horsecloth
- Selecting a half-cloth is simple if you know the measurements for horsecloth: their dimensions are standard, varying from 135 to 155. If your horse is larger or smaller that above, saddle it and take measurements between the saddle edge (seat, not pommel) and the assumed horsecloth edge.
