The main equestrian holiday was solemnly opened in Sokolniki. Interactive areas, galleries, workshops, exhibition carriages were located in Sokolniki Park, and the pavilions of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre housed the large-scale exposition of the leading players in horse industry of Russia and Europe, as well as a large arena with stands for colorful horse shows.
The opening ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Equestrian Federation of Russia Gennady Seleznev, member of the Board of JSC The Russian hippodromes JSC Nikolay Isakov, Head of Zabegina Company Ekaterina Zabegina, the TV project "Holiday in Mexico" participant Timur Chikovani and rapper Staff. All the guests of honor were presented to the public by Alexey Kharyutkin, CEO of Moskau Messe Company, the exhibition organizer.
Numerous visitors and media representatives witnessed such activities as the Pride of Russia horse parade, the Russian Legend festival of Orlov trotter and Dzhigitovka workshops organized by the Equestrian Federation of the Moscow region. Simultaneously, pavilion number 7a hosted a conference "Dressage in Russia ― Issues and Prospects."
