On Thursday, which is the first day of the Equiros exhibition and fair, an open championship will be held among horses of the Karachay breed “Karachay Russia 2018”.
The championship is organized by
- Anastasiya Pichayeva, author of the Equikonny project,
- Khasan Salpagarov’s Equestrian Center
The event is supported by Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy.
The Karachay is one of the oldest horse breeds. Karachay horses are extremely enduring, responsive to the rein, fearless, and very loyal to their owners.
The aim of the championship is to combine the efforts of those not indifferent to the fate of this breed, eager to protect Karachay horses, and encourage their participation in equestrian sports!
The start of the show program is scheduled for October 5, 2018 5 p.m. Venue: the Main Arena.
Khasan Salpagarov’s Equestrian center is the partner and co-organizer of the championship. It holds unique horseback riding tours, with a variety of distances to choose from and a chance to explore the most picturesque places of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.
