As early as in April this year the first “Center of horse reproduction” in Russia will open its doors! The Center is situated at the facilities of PKF “Hartley’s Horse House” in Starikovo village, Shakhovskoy district, Moscow region.

The Center is provided with the most advanced equipment for the assessment of the horses’ reproductive function, the artificial insemination and the embryo transfer. The patients will be offered access to cytological, ultrasound and endoscopic diagnosis of the mares’ reproductive organs as well as to the laboratory for the assessment of quality and fertility of the stud horses’ semen with the use of the equipment for cryopreservation and storage of the deep-freeze semen.

Currently the facility of the “Hartley’s Horse House” Center allows to host up to 17 horses all at the same time. The cryobank of the Center already contains the frozen semen of the leading show jumping and dressage stud horses – breeders from Europe: Diamant de Semilly, Cornet Obolensky, Contendro I, Quaterhit, Revolution etc. We are also cooperating with the Russian owners of the stud horses of sport breeds including those officially recognized by the German studbooks.

The facilities of the “Hartley’s Horse House” breeding company dispose of the officially recognized three show jumping stud horses: Volkonskiy (Now or Never / Embassy I), Quizarro (Quidam De Revel / Cassini I), Kangrande ( Kannan / Acorado).

The Center’s employees perform the artificial insemination of the mares with all types of semen. Specialists on site visits to the companies of the Moscow and other regions are practicable.

In the framework of the “EQUIROS PROFESSIONAL’2018” the Center’ specialists will held a seminar where they will talk about the specifics of the horses’ reproduction, physiological requirements for the breeding animals in the conditions of breed, the advanced technologies and methods of the horses’ reproduction and their prospects in Russia.
