The Arabian breed is one of three horse breeds on Earth which has the right to be called pure-blooded. All other pedigreed horse breeds except pure-blooded English Thoroughbreds and, recently, the Akhal-Teke are called purebred. But only the Arabian horse can boast of having its hot blood run in the absolute majority of stud breeds of the world.
