The Equiros Professional horse fair finished its work on March 20, 2016.

From March 17th to 20th in exhibit hall 2 of the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre another edition of the Equiros Professional horse fair and professional conference was held. This year the event took up 4,500 sq.m. of exhibition space, hosting 77 exhibiting companies, including seven new participants: Bio Trade House (Shchebekino, Belgorod Region), BioMedVetService (Moscow), West-Point (Moscow), VitaminServis (Moscow), Centre of Equestrian Technologies (Moscow), and LLC “MIK” (Moscow).

At their stands the companies presented such products as: equestrian ammunition and riding apparel – 41 companies; equestrian infrastructure and equipment – 3 companies; horse feeds and forages – 9 companies; and veterinary preparations – 6 companies. There were also three companies specializing in saddlery and saddlecloths, 3 equestrian magazines, 2 companies offering equestrian tourism, and 10 companies with accompanying goods and services.

Professional panels included several seminars and roundtable discussions organized by the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Horse Breeding, the Russian Equine Veterinary Association, the National centre of Equestrian Tourism, the EquiHelp Horse protection Society Autonomous Non-Profit Organization, and by professional individuals (senior coach of the Russian national dressage team and International Master of Sport Alexander Varnavsky and saddlery master Alexander Lukyanchikov). Over the four days the traditional professional conference was held, dedicated to the current problems of horse veterinary medicine. The international conference was organized by the Russian Equine Veterinary Association. Seminars on driving and the rules of harnessing held by the Museum of Orlov Trotter and the Russian Troyka attracted a wide audience.

In total, over 4,120 specialists visited the exhibition over the four days, including representatives from the CIS countries, which demonstrates the importance of such events in Moscow.

The traditional big Equiros will be held from October 27th to October 30th, 2016 in exhibit halls 4, 4.1 and 4.2 of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre. There will be a vast equestrian and business programme with the participation of at least 180 exhibitors and many horses of various breeds.
