The EQUIROS/ ЭКВИРОС international equestrian exhibition is one of the key Russian equestrian events which is traditionally highly praised by the horse society.

For 17 years already industry representatives have been acknowledging the EQUIROS/ ЭКВИРОС exhibition as the main equestrian event in Russia. It annually attracts leading industry experts from Russia, Germany, Belorussia, China, and Netherlands. It is a platform where leading companies present new technologies and products for the equestrian market.

In 2015 EQUIROS/ ЭКВИРОС attracted over 150 companies from more than 10 countries. The equestrian programme featured over 220 horses of various breeds. The four days of the exhibition registered 12,754 visitors from 70 Russian regions.

EQUIROS/ ЭКВИРОС was held with the cooperation of the following official partners: Russian Equine Veterinary Association, the All-Russian Research Institute of Horse Breeding, Timiryazev State Agrarian University, The Golden Mustang magazine, the Horsetimes web portal, the Konevoditel magazine. The official sponsor of the exhibition is the Favorit Motors company who are the official representatives of the KIA brand in Russia.

The professional programme featured the following events:

• Horse Diseases: Diagnostics, Prevention And Treatment, the 16th international scientific and practical conference;
• Time challenges. New ideas and technology. Internet as a tool of PR, development of the equestrian sport and industry, round table discussion organized by Horsetimes’ team;
• Driving for Everyone, practical driving seminar;
• Trends in the development of modern competitions. Theoretical part, seminar by A.Varnavsky
• Analysis of the major mistakes in training young horses, seminar by Frank Jespers;
• Internet and Information Technologies in the Horse Industry, seminar;
• Natural Horsemanship, seminar;
• And other events.

The equestrian programme featured the following events on the main and small riding halls:

• Daily dressage presentations of the exhibition participants;
• Dressage master class and practical class; Analysis of the Major Mistakes in Training Young Horses conducted by Frank Jespers;
• Dressage and show jumping show tournament for pony riders;
• Master class on driving;
• Master class on Western riding;
• Vyatka of Moscovia dressage ring of Vyatka horses;
• Bogatyr Power dressage ring of heavy draught horses;
• The Black Diamond of Russian Horse Breeding dressage ring of Russian Saddle horses;
• Children and youth equestrian competitions for Alexey Glukharev’s awards;
• And other events.

Over 150 companies presented their goods and services in the traditional fair, among which there was ammunition, horse feeds, veterinary preparations, equipment for equestrian infrastructure and sport. The visitors had a chance to select from a wide assortment of horse goods and take advantage of the traditional bargain-sale. Alongside with the usual participants such as PROKONI, Tehnologiya Sporta, Koenig-Hippika, Mizar, Valtrap, Horze, Foliant, Favorit M, Horse Style, Horse House, Neva-Vet, Veda, Belaya Griva, Kapital Prok, Moscow equestrian store, IP Reva, Fra-Mil, Gallop, Old Billy, IP Kaprilovich, and Maksi Horse, there were a lot of new participants: The Kremlin Riding School, Sozidatel Equestrian Centre, Koshelev farm husbandry.

For the youngest visitors a special programme was organized:

• S&B Toys company who are the official distributor of BREYER in Russia conducted a kids’ festival during which the numerous fans of the BREYER brand participated in show jumping competitions and workshops.
• The exhibition ground of EQUIROS showcased a special exposition: the exhibition of ponies and miniature horses.
• There was also a kids’ leisure village and a workshop zone.

Over the four days of EQUIROS the exhibition zone was a huge success with the visitors.

The next edition of EQUIROS/ ЭКВИРОС will be held from March 17th to 20th, 2016 in exhibit hall 2 of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre. We are looking forward to see you there!
