Today, on October 15th, 2015, as many as 4 pavilions of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre opened their doors for the 17th edition of the leading Russian equestrian exhibition EQUIROS whose history dates back to 1998.
The participants of the ceremony were:
Sautkin Alexey Viktorovich, acting committee chairman of the Veterinary Council of Moscow;
Polzunova Alla Mikhailovna, Vice President of Russian Trotter Horse Breeding Association;
Gerchakov Yevgeniy Arkadyevich, People’s Artist of Russia.
As part of the opening ceremony on behalf of the honorary guests and the organizers the ceremony of honouring of the sportsmen and the coaches of the junior national dressage team who came second in the Dressage World Championship in 2015.
The young sportsmen were Yekaterina Dubrovina, Yelizaveta Lyban, Irina Zhogina, Anna Guseynova, and the Merited coaches were Aleksandra Korelova and Olga Soboleva. All of them were presented with memorable gifts.
Throughout the four days of the event, from October 15th to October 18th, visitors will enjoy a vast exposition of horsecare and equestrian sport products from the leading Russian and foreign producers, and a rich entertainment programme featuring numerous shows and performances. Some of them are: trick riding from the 1st Operational Regiment of Mounted Police of Moscow, Orlov Trotter Festival, Russian Saddle Horse Championship, Heavy Draft and Light Draft Breeds Championship, and much more.
Apart from the equestrian programme the organizers prepared an extensive professional programme featuring a large number of seminars and conferences. Its key event is the 16th International Academic And Practical Conference ‘Horse Diseases: Diagnostics, Prevention, And Treatment’ that will host such renowned global experts as Valerie Deniau (France), Nauris Laizans (Latvia) and Martins Boroduskis (Latvia). Traditionally the professional conference attracts leading Russian and foreign experts from veterinary, zootechnics, and academic science sectors, as well as trainers and sportsmen.
