The Seventeenth International Horse Fair, organized by Equiros, will take place at the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre from October 15th to October 18, 2015. Following tradition, the All-Russian Horse Breeding Scientific and Research Institute acts as one of the leading partners of the fair.
The Horse Breeding Institute was founded in Moscow in 1930. Its main purpose was to devise methods that would help to substantially increase the number of horses in the country and accelerate their reproduction. In 1960, the Institute moved from Moscow to its experimental base in the small town of Divovo, Ryazan Region, where a whole new complex of lab facilities and residential units, with all necessary utilities, was constructed.
The All-Russian Horse Breeding Scientific and Research Institute is the main selective breeding center working with horses from commercial breeding establishments in Russia and developing methods of increasing the quality of horse breeds. The Institute is the only organization in Russia that issues certificates on stud horses.
The All-Russian Horse Breeding Scientific and Research Institute will participate, as usual, in the business program at the Equiros fair.
