The business programme of the autumn exhibition Equiros-2014 will include a workshop Hippotherapy - a way to health. The Hippotherapy method of rehabilitation of children with autism, ICP and other developmental disorders. Hippotherapy for children and adults as a method of health improvement and adapted physical education.

The workshop is organized by the National Federation of Therapeutic Riding and Equestrian Sport for the Disabled (NF TR and ESD) and ANO "Our Sunny World" and conducted by neurologist, president of the NF TR and ESD A.I. Denisenkov and a member of council of ANO "Our Sunny World", editor of the Hippotherapy magazine, hippotherapy instructor I.V. Karpenkova.

The programme also includes a master-class "The application of therapeutic horse-riding and equestrian sports for the disabled and for correction, rehabilitation and social adaptation of children and adults with developmental disorders (ICP, Down syndrome, autism etc.). Theory and practice".

The programme of the master-class includes demonstration of various initial positions of a rider mounted on a horse intended for the development of spatial inferences, balance and groups of muscles in the rehabilitation of children with developmental disorders. The presenters will demonstrate elements of equestrian vaulting, paralympic dressage and of Special Olympics as part of the development programme for people with developmental disorders. The master-class will be presented by I.L. Shpitzberg, member of the board of the International Association Autism-Europe and the interdepartmental working group on the issues of complex medical, social, psychological and pedagogical assistance to people with autism under the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
