The World Equestrian Games start in French Normandy on August 24th. The games are the largest international event in the world of equestrian sports. They are organized under the auspices of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports and are held every four years in alternation with the Olympic Games.
In the course of two weeks the participants compete in various types of equestrian sports such as steeplechase, dressage, reining, balancing, jumping, eventing and others.
About 1000 participants from all over the world will demonstrate their skills.
During the autumnal Equiros-2014 on the third day of the show, October 18th, the main riding hall of the exhibition will witness the exhibition performance of the representatives of the Russian Paralympic dressage team and the distribution of awards among the riders – participants of the World Equestrian Games. The business programme of the exhibition will include an All-Russian Conference on the Results of the Season organized by the Paralympic dressage committee of the Federation of Equestrian Sports of Russia.
