Yesterday, on June 17th, sad news came from Ukraine: Igor Korneliouk, journalist of Vesti TV-programme was murdered. He died performing his professional duty. The camera crew of VGTRK (the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company) came under mortar attack near Lugansk. An explosion occurred. Being in a coma Igor Kornelyuk was brought to the hospital, where he has met an operative death caused by his injuries. Up until today, the fate of the channel’s sound engineer Anton Voloshin had remained unknown. This morning more terrible news came: the body of Anton Voloshin was found and identified.

Today, many influential international organizations express solidarity in condemning the bombardment of the crew was put into and the murder of the Russian journalists. The statements of different world organizations have a common theme: the murder of journalists does not correspond to the status of a normal government.

It turns out that Russian journalists in Ukraine are deprived of the right to receive information. Recent arrests of journalists and attacks clearly confirm this fact. It is worth noting that this time the bombardment was carried out in a place free of any military facilities.

Many Ukrainian fiends and executioners naively think they can escape punishment for all the crimes and genocide of the Ukrainian people. Their names are known worldwide. These monsters should be convicted by the International Tribunal, like the Nazi executioners. If not by court, justice sooner or later will prevail in any form. So the executioners, who gave the order and who were operating punitive operations in the south-east of Ukraine will be punished. It is only a matter of time. We are looking forward to receiving news on the punishment of the executors, organizers and clients of the crimes and atrocities that occurred in Ukraine.

Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre expresses its heartfelt condolences to the families of Igor Kornelyuk and Anton Voloshin. We will never forget you, your courage and dedication. Rest in peace!
