On behalf of the Ministry for Agriculture of the Russian Federation let me welcome the organizers, participants and guests of the “Equiros 2013“ International Equestrian Exhibition!

Since 2000, we have seen a constant growth in the number of horses in the Russian Federation. We also have seen progress in the improvement of domestic breeds. However, if we want to nail down the results and secure further development, we need to combine and coordinate the efforts of all people who care about horses and domestic horse breeding. The Equiros expo meetings is a good tradition that enables us to do so.

For over 15 years, all of us, including industry experts and horse lovers, have seen the development of the exhibition. It occupies an important place and plays an important role in the development of domestic horse breeding. Over the years the professionalism of the organizers has improved greatly. They constantly expand the program of events and attract not only a wide range of industry experts but also many new horse lovers.

Since its first days, the Equiros exhibition was more than a trading site. The breeding events, traditionally organized within the exhibition, enable us to choose the best horses of the breeds, to give horse breeders the guidelines and to draw public attention to the acute problems of horse breeding.

I wish the organizers, participants and guests of the 15th International Equestrian Exhibition ”Equiros 2013” health, good luck in all their endeavors, new achievements in developing of Russian horse breeding.
