Natalia Karpova - structural masseuse, member of the Russian Rehabilitologist Union

Hall 2, pavilion 20 (Mitkovsky proezd, 12, Sokolniki Park)

“Posture is the position from which movement begins and ends. Ideal posture is that state of muscular and skeletal balance which protects the supporting structures of the body against injury or progressive deformity, irrespective of the attitude in which these structures are working or resting. It is during a state of ideal posture that the musculoskeletal system will function most efficiently.” Paul Chek

Do you spend a lot of time and effort trying to improve your posture, but see no results?

You spend many hours training your horse to improve its balance, strength and fitness. Tell me, are you also working on your body strength, balance and flexibility so that your horse can move more freely under you?

What is a good posture? It has to start with full awareness of your own body, balance and an understanding of what it actually feels like. It is the kind of awareness that can improve strength, stability and posture. The stronger, more stable and flexible rider’s body is, the more it can positively influence their horse.

We invite you to Natalia Karpova's workshop where we will talk about how retained primitive reflexes can interfere with natural development and cause difficulties in psychophysics as well as interfere with social and educational interaction with the outside world. We will talk about methods of correction and different techniques for balancing the basic sensory system and extinguishing the primitive reflexes that interfere with complex movements.
