A round table “Working equitation. Growth vector in Russia” will be held as part of the 21st international equestrian exhibition “Equiros” business agenda. The event is scheduled for November 30, 2019, at 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, and will cover the following:
- Working equitation: the origins, various national equestrian traditions, horse breeds, herdsmen’s gear and apparel.
- Working equitation as a sport discipline: competition stages, difficulty classes, goals and requirements, obstacles review.
- Working equitation: philosophy, objectives, opportunities, and benefits of a working horse.
- Obstacle clearing technique: difficulties and methods to overcome them, tactics and consistency in training.
- The national regulation.
- 2020 competition plan as initiated by equestrian clubs
- Development plans and suggestions (preferably in the form of brief reports)
- Equipment and gear (the discussion is subject to brief reports and relevant imagery available)
- Working equitation “Children”: difficulty classes (difficulty levels within classes), skills, venue sizes, gear, requirements for horses and riders, the list of obstacles
- Obstacles: construction, design, and design options (experience exchange, ideas, and questions)
