The largest and long-awaited equestrian exhibition and fair Equiros kicked off today in halls 4, 4.1, and 4.2 of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center.
The opening ceremony was attended by
- Alexey Kharyutkin, Deputy Director General of Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center
- Kharon Amerkhanov, Director of the Department of Livestock and Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation
- Alla Polzunova, Vice President of the Russian Trotter Horse Breeding Association
- Ekaterina Zabegina, President of the Equine Veterinary Association
- Irina Veschikova, executive director of the Russian Trotter Horse Breeding Association
The 20th anniversary exhibition has brought together over 200 manufacturers and distributors of horse tack, feeds, veterinary preparations, and equipment for equestrian infrastructure and sport. Traditionally, the visitors will find products at the most affordable prices as the first days will see a lot of sales.
Equestrian program includes many workshops and show programs featuring western disciplines, extreme driving, horse trial, dressage, and show jumping workshops. This year’s event will see more 200 horses.
Business agenda will offer various seminars, lectures, conferences, and round tables on horse breeding. The highlight of this year’s program is as always the International Research and Practical Conference “Horse disorders: diagnosis, prevention, and treatment”.
