On October 28, 2017, between 14:00 and 16:00 the Grand Show Ring will see the International Equiros Exhibition Cup for Akhal-Teke horses.
The championship is organized by the following:
- Equiros international exhibition,
- All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Horse Breeding.
Akhal-Teke horses are one of the most ancient breeds survived to date, relatively small in numbers and very valuable. The name comes from the Turkish tribe called Teke, which used to own the best breed exemplars, and the Akhal oasis where population was the most dense.
