Thursday, August 10, 2017 VI International Exhibition of Calligraphy in Sokolniki Park September 1 to 10 in anticipation of the autumn Equiros

Dear friends, participants and visitors of Equiros!

Love to the beautiful is something that unites people all around the globe. The horse, this beautiful and graceful creation of nature, enchants and wins people’s hearts forever. We can safely say that anyone who has once met this animal will agree that the horse embodies power, grace, elegance and wisdom. Horses are beautiful both in appearance and character; they are clever, sincere and devoted friends. It is no wonder that the horse often attracts artists’ imagination, and one can find horse images in paintings, sculpture, and in calligraphy, too.

Calligraphy is an ancient art also characteristic of such traits as grace, elegance and depth of meaning combined with outer beauty.

We invite everyone caring for the beautiful to the VI International Exhibition of Calligraphy which will be held September 1 through 10 on Festivalnaya square of Sokolniki Park. The organizers, Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre, are a professional team capable of arranging professional exhibitions or trade fairs as well as art exhibitions. Come to the exhibition and be sure to find something interesting for yourself while exploring the mysterious world of calligraphy art. At the exhibition, you will see over 350 unique calligraphy works from 150 outstanding contemporary Russian and international masters which will give you a new vision of the expressive power of letters. Those most inspired will have a chance to try their hand at the art under the guidance of professional artists.

Equine imagery can often be found in calligraphy art of different cultures. You will have an opportunity to see some works of this kind at the VI International Exhibition of Calligraphy.

We invite everyone to discover the wonderful world of contemporary calligraphy!
