Veche publishers have published an album about horses entitled "With a Horse for the Ages. The Encyclopedia of a Young Horseman", more than one kilogram in weight, 300 pages, varnished paper, colour photos, pictures and texts about horses!
This is not only a colourful album but also an informative book on hippology written by a professional. You could give it to winners of competitions or just to friends!
Vasily Klimov is an environmental biologist, traveller, artist and writer. He found his vocation in the famous Askania Nova Nature Reserve, where he lived almost 20 years in the world of wild buffalo, zebra and wild horses. All these years he has studied the behaviour of wild and feral horses, while at the same time being head of a sports stable.
Participant in five international congresses. D. in Biology. Author of 1300 articles and 75 published books, including three monographs on horses.
Has travelled on horseback and by transport, on expeditions of the Academy of Sciences and his own country, in East, Central and North Africa, in Central, Central and South Asia, in the Far East, in South America, in Europe. He is a sportsman and a diver.
Since 1991 he has been a professional nature journalist. He takes photos with Canon, Lingof and Pentax cameras, in the air and under water. Since 1995 he has created book series "African Nature Reserves", "Animal Lives", "Eurasia Reserves", "Encyclopaedias"; he also writes stories and fairytales for children.
