Höveler, German feed for horses at Equiros
It is worth paying some extra attention to Höveler, popular feed for horses from Germany that will be presented at the spring Equiros exhibition. More than a century ago, Arnold Hoeveler’s creation was patented at the Imperial Patent Office in Berlin (Germany) in 1905. The “reform oats” Reformhafer, registered as WZ 100 725, has become the first patented horse feed in muesli form, having made a breakthrough in the conservative hay-oats-feeding trend.

A hand-made carriage
Mikhail Kazenkin is a former businessman and poultry farmer from Penza. Now, being a resident of Podmoskovye (Moscow Oblast), he finds it easy to build a carriage by hand. He has learnt how to make carriages back in Penza as Mikhail has always been a passionate “horse-lover”. His very first “machine” welded from old iron has gained the coveted shape of a vintage carriage. Then Michael used to give his fellow horse-lovers the carts he made.

“Horse in a coat” is a popular Russian knock-knock joke, which does not make much sense to anybody except attentive horse owners. They are well aware of the importance to have clothes for their horses, which is not an easy subject as it might seem at first glance. Of course some clothes look very cool and stylish but it should provide some necessary functions like protection from allergic reactions during transportations or competitions, or the body heat preservation while winter trainings.
